CatchLightPictures > (Selection 3 of 4) This picture was done by mixing two different exposures together. The fountain was f/16 1/5 and the brick in the arch was f/16 3/1 sec. I pasted one copy onto of the other and used a layer mask to select the portion of the brick to let show.

CatchLightPictures > But where is the soda?This was shot with two stobes. The main light had a small softbox on it and the second was bare bulb at low power to fill in the shadows.
CatchLightPictures > Reflection in The Merced RiverThe sun is setting over the Yosemite Valley. The Merced River is in the foreground providing that great reflection.I continue to play with HDR with this picture. I took 6 exposures each 1/3 EV apart. I then used Photomatix to combine them. I like this approach as opposed to carrying around the various filters that would be need to balance the exposure of the sky with the valley floor.You can find other pictures from my visit to Yosemite at Yosemite Gallery
